Major kudos to Zehao for completing his doctoral dissertation titled "From Coal Consumption to Ash Composition: Predictive Modeling for Sustainable Coal Fly Ash Management".
Zehao's research examined the recyclability, toxicity, and leachability of coal ash through the development of predictive models and protocols for assessing coal ash quality and leaching potential of toxins at disposal sites. His work also developed a national inventory of coal ash residual composition at disposal sites with the goal of promoting sustainable management practices.
