Today Hsu-Kim lab group members Ross, Ryan and Helen gave platform presentations at the World of Coal Ash meeting in Lexington, KY. In addition to presenting our work on rare earth element characterization and recovery from coal ash, we were able to see a horse breed parade, sample Kentucky's finest bourbon, and examine the official WOCA vodka ice luge (although none of us were takers on iced vodka - hard to turn down KY bourbon!).
